The ACTS (Artist for Christ in Total Surrender) are the new breed of ministers, teaching and discipling young people with innovative mime and dance skills. The group was launched at the concert of Musikatha’s “Showers of Blessings” last August 23, 2003 at the Cuneta Astrodome where they performed their first mime “Pearl of Great Price” by Steve Kuban. Years after, ACTS did presentations in various concerts conducted by Musikatha, one of which was the “Harana sa Hari” concert where they staged the carrier single “ Harana” and another at Hong Kong, “Tracing the tears” by Sis. Joni Villanueva.

The group consists of well-trained young students and professionals from different chapters of JIL (Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan) who are willing to commit themselves for the Lord, and are categorized as Trainers, Breakers, and Trainees according to their level of expertise in dancing. Trials and problems are alwaysa part of maturity. At these crucial times, these ministers turn into silence and reflect on God’s will. There were instances when only a few attended the trainings due to individual personal duties. But still the group chose to remain faithful. Because each one of them believes that thru prayers and a desire to serve, ACTS will stand and proclaim the greatness of God. Truly the Lord sees every heart who is faithfully working at His vineyard.

Today, ACTS is now spreading across JIL chapters in the country and serves as a model for every youth, teaching jazz, ballet and modern mime. They conduct workshops, trainings and perform in different parts of Luzon and aiming to reach every talented Filipinos across the nation and all over the world.
ACTS continuously inculcates in every young mind their God given skills. They work with excellence and they keep their faith that SILENT WORSHIP touches the heart of God.
