Emphasize that DANCE is not just a form of art, but one of the highest forms of WORSHIP.



Tambourine is an instrument that is accurately being used in the different churches as part of the worship tool.
The use of tambourine in dancing is especially effective in Middle Eastern dances as musical instrument in praise dancing to usher the presence of God in a church. It records that as King David and his men carried the Ark of God (dwelling place of God) into Jerusalem, he used the tambourine to go before the Ark to prepare
the way upon entering the city.

By the help of other churches like the All for Christ Church, Movements for Christ Philippines, Jesus the Gospel Church International, and also books from Magrate Yap of Shachah Creative Music and Dance Centre Malaysia, we are being taught and educated skillfully with the steps and patterns. They are a great help to redeem and enhance theskills of playing tambourine in our church.The effectiveness of a tambourine minister does not lie on skills alone. It requires the understanding of the revelations behind the steps. Since 1992, at the yearly thanksgiving celebration of the JIL Church we join the worship team as part of the festivity. We are inspired to minister to God wholeheartedly because of His faithfulness and greatness in our lives. The ministry is still going through different changes, but it is God who moves us to play the tambourine because He is the main reason for our victory. We had learned experiences and lessons which are very essential for our team. These are what we have and want to share with you…because these made us in becoming effective ministers of tambourineWith the name we bear in our hearts…we ‘ELYONDOULOS’ will be ‘the servant of the Most High God’, bringing all the glory and praise to the Master of all kinds of music, dance and worship.
